Balıkesir, Turkey Mobility

 

The 5th meeting of “ Collective action for respect and empathy” Erasmus + project was organized at Balıkesir Muharrem Hasbi Anadolu Lisesi in Balıkesir, Turkey, on 22nd -26th November 2021.

The meeting was organized with the particiation of 26 students and 11 teachers from Poland, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Romania and Konya Turkey. More students and teachers from the host school Balıkesir Muharrem Hasbi Anadolu Lisesi also took part in the activities during the meeting.

On the first day of the meeting first, partners visited classes and the parts of the school to get to know more about Turkish schools and Turkish education. Then they visited the city museum, Zağnos Paşa Mosque,Kuvayı Milliye Museum,Clock tower, Milli Kuvvetler Street and the city park to know more about the history and the culture of the city.

On the second day  all participants created a project wall on which they wrote  messages on friendship and messages against bullying.

On the third day all students and participants wrote a friendship recipe. The whole school and the participants described who a good friend is.  They pinned their recipes on the boards in corridors. Then the participants watched the host school’s students performances prepared for Teachers Day and “ Collective action for respect and empathy” project. In the afternoon the participants watched a traditional Ebru art show and created their own Ebru art.

On Thursday the participants visited the most important important tourist attraction sites near Balıkesir such as Troy and Assos.

On Friday participants did an art work in the arts room. They printed the name of the project on their bags preapared by the host school. They also took part in the dance show of the school folk dance group. They also toook part in a creative drama activity on friendship.

The meeting ended with the filling in the evaluation forms for the meeting and with the certificate ceremony.
